“Make design simple, but significant”

erba is a transparent container with a simple designed dispenser that celebrates the freshness of organic herbs.
It helps support the herbs living cycle, in which water, oxygen and humidity are in perfect balance to maintain the
flavor of the live goods. The inspiration to create erba was to find a unique form, material
and colors that complemented the complexity and uniqueness of each type of herbs.

How it Works

erba has 3 important elements: the transparent container, the ceramic bottom and the dispenser. The transparent container
allows you to identify the humidity where your herbs are living and keeps them safe from the irregular coldness on the fridge.
Ceramic as a material is perfect to absorb extra humidity and provide oxygen. And finally, the dispenser pumps water equally
through the holes in the sides and bottom to keep herbs hydrated from their stem to their leaves. It is intuitive and simple to use.

The final model was made with a glass blown container, a high density foam for the vase and a 3D print for the dispenser.
All the items were carefully made to mimic the intended materials and feel of the product.
